Evaporators for stickwater are very important, because they recover dry matter that will increase the yield of meal by 20% or more, depending upon the freshness and nature of the raw material. Furthermore, they eliminate a serious pollution problem that today appears unacceptable, particularly in the vicinity of densely populated areas.

(2). Double effect climbing film evaporator
(3). Triple effect falling and climbing evaporator
The double effect falling film evaporator is now used more widely.
