3. Test content:
(1) Low temperature winding test: used to evaluate the performance of round cables or round insulating cores at low temperatures, and used in conjunction with a low temperature box.
(2) Short-term aging test: In order to simulate the change of insulating properties of insulating materials under long-term operation in actual operation in the shortest time. The completion of the experiment is generally accelerated by artificially accelerating the aging of the insulating material in the laboratory. A good artificial accelerated aging test method must have equivalence, typicality and repeatability, among which equivalence is often the most important, because equivalence can truly reflect the aging process of insulating materials. Randomly put the high voltage line into a 150 degree high temperature box for 240 hours. Remove product surface without cracking. If there are no cracks, the jacket passes.
(3) Insulation volume resistivity test: The basic characteristic of insulating materials is high insulation resistance. The higher the rated voltage of electrical equipment, the higher the insulation resistance. However, if the insulation is wet, the surface is dirty or deteriorated, the insulation resistance will drop dramatically; if there are penetrating cracks or breakdown channels (see Dielectric Breakdown), the insulation resistance will drop to zero. A high resistance meter (vibration meter) is usually used to measure the insulation resistance of equipment.
(4) Flame retardant test: under the specified test conditions, scorch the sample. After the test fire source is removed, the flame spread is only within a limited range, and the residual flame or residual flame can self-extinguish the cable within a limited time. The basic features are: it can be burnt and cannot operate in the event of a fire, but it prevents the spread of the fire. In layman's terms, in the event of a fire in the wire, the combustion can be limited to a local range without spreading, protecting various other equipment and avoiding greater losses.
Five 15-second burn tests were performed on the high-voltage lines of electric vehicles to test the product's flame retardancy. vw-1 concept: vw-1 is the wire of the flammability level UL, VW-1 test standard. The experiment stipulates that the sample should be kept vertical, burn with a test torch (flame height 125mm, firepower 500W) for 15 seconds, then stop for 15 seconds, and repeat 5 times.
Eligibility criteria are:
(1) The residual flame should not exceed 60 seconds.
(2) The sample should not burn more than 25%.
(3) The surgical cotton pad at the bottom should not be ignited by falling objects. The high-voltage line of the electric vehicle that has undergone the combustion test is still intact.
