OrthoVault - Digital Dental Services
OrthoVault addresses the need for dentists and orthodontists to store patient study models by allowing them to store their models securely online and access them at any time. Traditionally, study models are created for each orthodontic patient out of fragile plaster and physically stored for a minimum of seven years. With OrthoVault, models or impressions are scanned to create a digital file that the practitioner can quickly and easily recall from OrthoVault’s web portal 24 hours a day.
Dentists and orthodontists can be confident in the security of their files as OrthoVault meets all the security standards for HIPAA as well as the FDA. OrthoVault’s files are stored securely in SSL-encrypted databases. The servers are regularly backed up to multiple locations to ensure the data is always preserved.
