1. The steps are tedious.
2. Solvent extraction method: organic solvent extraction is the use of volatile organic solvents to extract the ingredients in plant raw materials. The products obtained are extractum, tincture, etc. Organic solvent extraction may cause solvent residue, extraction time is too long, the efficiency is relatively low.
3. Pressing method: the raw materials are crushed and pressed, the volatile oil is squeezed out from the plant tissue, and then the oil is separated by centrifuge and the quality of the essential oil obtained by this method is good, and the original fragrance can be maintained. The essential oil used in food and cosmetics abroad is mostly obtained by cold pressing method.
