Type C silica gel, also known as coarse porous silica gel, It is a milky translucent particle. It is divided into two types: spherical and block. The main component is SiO2·nH2O, insoluble in water and inorganic acid, soluble in hydrofluoric acid and concentrated caustic soda solution. The pore volume is 0.78-1.00ml/g, pore size 80-100Å, specific surface area 300-500㎡/g.
Use
The product is mainly used for drying various industrial gases, adsorption of organic acids and moisture in transformer oil, polymer protein in industrial fermentation process, multi-valuable harmful elements in water, etc., purification and separation of drugs, moisture-proof items and pet feeding pad, catalyst carrier, and also the basic raw materials for further processing of fine silica gel products.
