The open acetylene generator is suitable for large calcium carbide with particle size less than 200mm. The calcium carbide is loaded into the bucket, lifted by explosion-proof electric hoist, and then fed by hand or belt conveyor. Calcium carbide is added from the upper part of the charging barrel to the inside of the generator through the water surface, and evenly distributed on the grid plate through the distributor, that is, it reacts with water to generate acetylene gas and calcium hydroxide. Due to the water sealing effect of feeding bucket and overflow pipe, acetylene gas can only be introduced into the low-pressure system after being washed and cooled by spray water in the scrubber. The produced calcium hydroxide is deposited at the cone bottom of the generator and discharged into the slag pool through the slag discharge pipe after a certain time. The gas output of different models of open acetylene generator is between 80 ~ 300m3 / h.
Product features:
1. The particle size range of raw calcium carbide is wide. This generator can use large calcium carbide. The particle size of calcium carbide is 200-50mm, and a small amount of calcium carbide below 50mm can also be used. Calcium carbide does not need to be broken, leaving out crushing equipment and dust removal equipment.
2. It can ensure safe production. The generator is integrated with the washing tower and safety water seal. Acetylene gas is washed and cooled into cleaner gas, which will not block pipes and valves and is conducive to safe production. The central feeding cylinder acts as a safety water seal. Once the overpressure in the generator exceeds the water seal height of the feeding cylinder, the acetylene gas will be automatically discharged from the feeding cylinder and discharged to the outside along the exhaust cylinder. Moreover, the pressure relief is timely and faster than the general safety water seal, which can ensure the safe operation of the generator.
3. Acetylene gas has high purity and high calcium carbide efficiency. The open acetylene generator does not need nitrogen replacement when feeding, and the purity of acetylene gas is high, generally up to 99%. Since calcium carbide does not need to be broken, the loss of small particle calcium carbide and powder during crushing is reduced and the efficiency of calcium carbide is improved.
4. Simple structure, low equipment cost and operation cost. The open generator has simple structure, no transmission equipment and auxiliary motor, no air compressor, no crushing and dust removal equipment, which greatly reduces the equipment investment. This generator can be set up in a single set regardless of its size, reducing operators and operating costs.
5. The open type generator can be used in combination with automatic slag removal and manual or slag removal. Manual slag removal is used once every eight hours, which has no impact on the working state of the generator. The automatic slag removal generator can be used continuously in normal operation without affecting the effect of the generator. Neither automatic slag removal nor manual slag removal will leak gas.
6. When the open acetylene generator is started up, the nitrogen is replaced once. The nitrogen consumption is less and the waste of acetylene gas is less. During start-up, the cost is saved by 3% ~ 5%.
