1、 Overview
A. The pneumatic on-off valve is mainly used as the switch in the powder material flow control system. It is usually used in series with flow control valve. Pneumatic on-off valve is driven by cylinder to realize the switch function.
B. In structure, there is no difference between the pneumatic on-off valve and the electric on-off valve. The main difference is that the driving force of the sliding block in the valve body to change the valve position is different. The pneumatic on-off valve is sent by the control air in the air circuit (pipe) to the operating cylinder in the valve to push the piston to move and drive the slider to change the valve position of the valve body; the electric on-off valve uses the electromagnetic suction force generated by the spiral coil to drive the slider to change the valve position of the valve body. Because the pneumatic on-off valve changes the valve position by controlling the air in the cylinder to form a certain pressure, the piston and slider can be pushed to change the valve position of the valve body. In actual control, the switching speed is relatively slow, while the speed of electric on-off valve current producing suction force is relatively fast, so from the perspective of working speed, the electric on-off valve acts faster.
C. In addition, the control signal of the pneumatic on-off valve is the air pressure signal, which must be connected with the pipe, so the volume of the electric on-off valve is smaller than that of the pneumatic switch valve, because the control signal of the electric on-off valve is generally the current signal, which can be connected by wire, and there is no operating plunger.
