269PLUS-100P-HI is a motor management relay that is manufactured by GE Multilin. This relay is 100 Ohm and has a platinum RTD. The shipping box is 11.40 inches x 7.50 inches x 16.00 inches (W x H x D). The shipping weight is 7.75 lb. The ambient temperature for storage and operation must fall between -25°C-60°C. The inputs on this relay include the meter communication port, the spare input, the differential relay input, the speed switch input, the programming access jumper or keyswitch, the external reset pushbutton, the emergency restart keyswitch, the 6 stator RTDs, the 4 additional RTDs, the ground fault CTs, the phase CTs, the supply power terminals, and the universal AC/DC supply.
The typical motor protections include protecting the motors and equipment from operator abuse, protecting personnel from shock hazards, protecting gears, pumps, fans, sawmills, cutters, and compressors from a mechanical jam, protecting pumps from loss of suction or fans from loss of air flow, protecting the motor and the load bearings from the excessive heat buildup due to mechanical wear, protecting motors that are operated in varying ambient temperatures, protecting high inertia, long acceleration drive systems using a custom overload curve. There are a number of keys on the relay controls. Pressing the Actual Values key on this unit puts the relay into Actual Values mode, which allows the user to examine all of the actual motor operating parameters. Pressing the Setpoints key puts the relay into Setpoints mode, which allows the user to examine and alter all trip, alarm, and other relay setpoints.
