A locking washer is a mechanical fastener that is mainly used to prevent fasteners from loosening due to external forces such as vibration, impact, and thermal expansion. It consists of two pieces, each with a radial convex surface on the outside and a beveled surface on the inside. This type of washer uses the tension between the two washers to achieve the dual effects of preventing loosening and tightening.
Working principle: The working principle of the anti-loosening washer is that during assembly, the inner beveled tooth surfaces are relative to each other, and the outer radial convex surface is in a bite state with the contact surfaces at both ends. When the connecting part is vibrated and the bolt tends to loosen, only the inner beveled tooth surfaces of the two washers are allowed to move relative to each other, generating lifting tension, thereby achieving a 100% locking effect.
