Product Description
The PHD series is a gantry moving CNC high-speed drilling and milling machine, mainly used for drilling, shaving, chamfering, grooves inside holes and milling of flanges, heat exchangers, tubeplates, rotary supports and other workpieces. It can be used for internal cold high-speed drilling with hard alloy drill bit or external cold drilling with high speed steel twist drill bit. Drilling depth of 10D (10x diameter) can be achieved with special crown drill bit. The machining process is NC and easy to operate. It can realize automatic, high precision and many kinds of mass production.

PHD Series machine is mainly used for drilling and milling of connection plates and anchor plates in steel structures, iron towers, bridges, machining and other industries. Drilling and milling of tube sheets, baffles and flanges in pan frying, petrochemical, pressure vessel and other industries; it can drill through holes, blind holes, stepped holes, hole end chamfering and light milling.

The main spindle adopts square slide pillow, material is casting iron , more stable to avoid any vibraition when in high speed rotation.Z axis special design :servo guide rail and drilling bit on same center line Machine bed completely T slot structure , the T slot quantity and distance will depends on the smallest workpiece size of user,The whole machine is completely welded by thick plate after quenching , weight is heavier than PSD series,This model suitable for big flanges with less holes , can add chuck self centering for easy fix of flanges Double drives on both sides of the bed, double screw rods, double guide rails, wider gantry, larger and more stable gantry base, independent electrical control cabinet outside the gantry, using Siemens control system
