Product Description
Crucible furnace has always been the equipment for smelting copper alloy. Now, crucible furnace is used for smelting copper alloy in a large proportion. In ancient times, charcoal was used as the heat source for smelting, but now it is followed by heavy oil, gas, electricity and coke. Recently, in order to save energy and protect the environment and improve efficiency, some heat sources have been changed from heavy oil to gas and some to induction furnace.
The application is not limited by the production scale, batch size and variety of smelting materials. It can be selected arbitrarily, has strong applicability, and can ensure the purity of the melted materials. Due to the above excellent properties, graphite crucible furnace is widely used in the smelting of alloy tool steel and the smelting of non-ferrous metals and their alloys in metallurgy, casting, machinery, chemical industry and other industrial departments, and has good technical and economic effects,
Crucible furnace is the simplest melting equipment. Now it is mainly used to melt non-ferrous metals with low melting point, such as copper, aluminum and their alloys. In this furnace, the alloy is melted in the crucible, and the heat is transferred to the charge through the crucible. The combustion products of the charge are not in direct contact. Therefore, the chemical composition of the alloy is hardly affected by the furnace gas, and the temperature of the alloy liquid is relatively uniform, which is also the main advantage.
Secondly, the crucible furnace has the advantages of simple structure, small investment and fast production. It is widely used in the foundry workshops of small and medium-sized non-ferrous alloy processing plants and machine manufacturing plants. It has been vigorously promoted and widely used in practical production.
Crucible furnace is made of high temperature and heat resistant alloy, with long service life, high efficiency, low energy consumption, convenient maintenance and operation It adopts automatic ignition and has the dual functions of melting and heat preservation, which saves fuel, has good heat preservation and saves cost. It is used for heating when laboratories, industrial and mining enterprises, scientific research and other institutions conduct element analysis and determination, melt metals and heat treatment of general small steel parts
