To extend the useful life of wood or enhance its mechanical qualities, several chemicals and materials are used to treat wood.
The core components of the system are an autoclave for impregnating the wood, a mixing tank to dilute the salts with water, and a solution storage tank.
Additionally, an automatic washing system in the autoclave enables various impregnation procedures to be totally automated.
The treatment process:
1, Vacuum: The air inside the autoclave and wood cells is exhausted by vacuum pump
2, Filling with the impregnation solution: The solution stored in the tank is transferred into autoclave chamber.
3, High pressure: High pressure is applied inside autoclave so that the solution impregnates the entire surface of wood.
4, Solution discharge: Chamber pressure is released and excess solution is transferred back to tank.
5, Drying: Vacuum pump works to dry the wood
6, Cleaning: Autoclave chamber is cleaned by spraying water.
