SKD11 material heat treatment hardness: HRC58-60. Suitable for making high-precision long-life cold mold and thermosetting plastic mold.
SKD11 has good toughness and high temperature fatigue resistance, can withstand the sudden big change in temperature, suitable for long-term work in high temperatures circumstances, with good cutting performance and polishing performance.
SKD11 die steel is a widely used in the international air-cooled hardening cold work die steel. It is smelted by electrothermal furnace and purified by electroslag remelting, so it gains high purity, better toughness, homogeneous tissue, and gains good high temperature strength, toughness and high temperature fatigue resistance, and can withstand sudden big change in temperature.
