PCT-01 Package Compression Tester
Application
The Package Compression Tester is a versatile and precision instrument designed for pressure resistance measurement across a variety of packaging materials. This essential testing equipment is specifically engineered to assess the durability and integrity of composite film packs, paper cups, bowls, and containers used in diverse industries, including food, medicine, and cosmetics. Additionally, the tester is adept at evaluating the robustness of infusion bags, plastic infusion bottles, blood bags, ice bags, and other similar packaging materials.
Test Principle
Placement: The tester comprises upper and lower pressure plates. The sample (packaging material) to be tested is securely positioned between these plates.
Compression: The upper-pressure plate is actuated to move downward against the sample. This simulates external pressure conditions that the packaging might encounter during real-world usage.
Force Measurement: The force exerted by the lower pressure plate is measured in real time. This data is critical in determining the sample’s bursting performance and its constant pressure resistance capacity. The measurements help in understanding how different materials and designs will perform under stress conditions.
