Polymer Lightning Surge Arrester Metal Oxide Zinc Type Without Gap from 11kV to 42kV
Yuanneng arresters utilize the good nonlinear volt-ampere characteristics of zinc oxide, the current flowing through the arrester under normal operating voltage is extremely small (microampere or milliampere). Once an overvoltage occurs in the system, the arrester immediately activates and enters the working state, instantly turning itself into a conductor and releasing high voltage to the ground to prevent the system voltage from continuing to rise and protect equipment and personal safety.
Yuanneng stipulates that the arrester should be electrically tested before delivery, measuring its insulation resistance, reference voltage at DC 1mA, leakage current of 0.75-fold U1mA, residual voltage test, partial discharge test, etc. With excellent quality, Yuaneng a series of distribution arrester models have passed the type test in Chinese famous lab.
