Nylon Rods of polyamide PA6 are used to manufacture parts operating at high shock loads or in tribological systems. Polyamide 6 Nylon rods are often used to replace metal parts in mechanical engineering and manufacturing. Polyamide 6 rods can stand from -40°C to +100°C Polyamide 6 has a low friction level with any metals, can be machined easy and fast (depending on the modification) and the rods of PA6 is lighter than bronze and steel. Products made of Nylon / Polyamide 6 rods wear 2 times slower, increasing the service life of products by 1.5 times, and reducing the complexity of manufacturing.Polyamide 6 / Nylon Materials can be heated and UV stabilized. Most Polyamide 6 rods grades are available in black color, some of them in a natural or grey color as well.
