The power supply module is a power supply that can be directly mounted on the
printed circuit board. It is characterized by providing power supply for
integrated circuit (ASIC), digital signal processor (DSP), microprocessor,
memory, field programmable gate array (FPGA) and other digital or analog loads.
Generally speaking, such modules are called point of load (POL) power supply
system or point of use power supply system (pups). Due to the advantages of
modular structure, modular power supply is widely used in switching equipment,
access equipment, mobile communication, microwave communication, optical
transmission, router and other communication fields, automotive electronics,
aerospace and so on.
Mitsubishi Q61P is the power module of Mitsubishi q series PLC. The power
module is a module that provides DC5V power to each module of the programmable
controller installed on the base plate.

Mitsubishi Q61P is a power module.
PLC power supply is used to provide working power for the integrated circuit of
each PLC module. At the same time, some also provide 24V working power supply
for the input circuit. Power input types include: AC power supply (220VAC or
110VAC), DC power supply (24VAC is commonly used).
Most modular PLCs use backplane or rack. Its function is to realize the
connection between modules electrically, so that the CPU can access all modules
on the backplane, and mechanically, realize the connection between modules, so
that each module forms a whole.
Other equipment of PLC system:
1. Programming equipment: the programmer is an indispensable device for PLC
development and application, monitoring operation, inspection and maintenance.
It is used to write programs, make some settings for the system, and monitor
the working conditions of PLC and the system controlled by PLC, but it does not
directly participate in the on-site control operation. Some PLCs are also
equipped with handheld programmers. At present, computers (running programming
software) generally act as programmers.
2. Man machine interface: the simplest man-machine interface is indicator light
and button. At present, LCD (or touch screen) integrated operator terminal is
more and more widely used, and computer (running configuration software) is
also very popular as man-machine interface.
3. Input and output equipment: used to permanently store user data, such as
EPROM, EEPROM writer, bar code reader, potentiometer for inputting analog
quantity, printer, etc.
