Product Discription:
Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) sheet material serves as the primary material, combined with self-adhesive layer and surface anti-(reduced) stickiness protective layer (except for the overlapping areas of the membrane), as well as separating material (when required). It bonds with the concrete that is poured subsequently, using the pre-paved method of construction, with overlapping edges welded using hot air. This type of waterproofing membrane, which does not require additional layers and may not require a protective layer, is referred to as TPO Pre-Laid Waterproofing Membrane. Once it reacts and solidifies with the liquid concrete slurry, the waterproof layer is seamlessly integrated with the concrete structure, eliminating the risk of water leakage between layers and effectively enhancing the reliability of the waterproofing system.

Product Features:
1、Composed of thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) sheets and synthetic polymer adhesives, it offers high tensile strength, large elongation, impact resistance, tear resistance, chemical resistance, and dimensional stability against thermal aging.
2、The use of hot air welding for lap joints ensures a high level of sealing reliability.
3、Excellent adhesion properties: The membrane forms a permanent bond with the subsequently poured concrete structure, and its waterproof performance is not affected by substrate settlement or deformation, enhancing the reliability of the waterproof layer.
4、 Convenient construction: The construction can be carried out throughout the year, and it does not interfere with the normal progression of subsequent construction processes.
How to Use:
Mechanical Fixed Layer System
Construction Process - Substrate preparation → Laying of vapor barrier → Laying of insulation board → Laying of the membrane → Mechanical fixing of the membrane → Hot air welding of lap joints → Detail node processing → Quality inspection and acceptance.
Key Construction Points -
1、Clean the substrate: The substrate should be solid, flat, clean, and dry.
2、 Laying of vapor barrier: Lay the vapor barrier with an air gap and use double-sided adhesive tape for lap joints.
3、 Laying of insulation board: Lay the insulation board with staggered seams and mechanically fix it in place.
4、 Pre-lay the membrane: Lay the TPO membrane according to the predetermined position, ensuring it is flat, straight, and without twists or crossings.
5、 Mechanical fixing of the membrane: Use special fixings to mechanically secure the lap joints of the lower layer of TPO membrane.
6、 Hot welding of lap joints: Clean the welding area of adjacent membranes and use a manual welder (or automatic welding machine) for hot air welding.
7、 Detail node processing: Process typical detail nodes such as corners, pipe roots, and openings.
TPO Membrane Fully Adhesive System

Key Construction Points -
1、 Clean the substrate: The cement concrete substrate should be solid, flat, dry, and clean.
2、Detail node processing: Use non-reinforced flashing membrane for detail nodes and weld it with the main roll of membrane.
3、 Pre-lay the membrane: Lay the TPO membrane according to the predetermined position, ensuring it is flat, straight, and without twists or crossings.
4、 Main waterproof layer construction: Bond the main waterproof layer to the substrate using a matching adhesive, applying the adhesive to both the substrate and the underside of the membrane.
5、 Air release and compaction: After the adhesive is applied, immediately lay and roll out the membrane, releasing air and compacting as you go.
