Over Head Line Suspension Disc Tempered Glass Insulator U70BS for High-Voltage transmission

Product Description

U70BS/127 D.C Discs glass insulators were widely used in early power transmission and distribution systems, particularly for low-voltage and medium-voltage dc lines. They were used to support telegraph and telephone lines as well. With the advancement of power transmission technology and the transition to higher voltage ac systems, these insulators have become less common in modern power grids. They are still sometimes found in historical installations or in specialized applications.
