Hexagonal anti-loosening nylon nut is a common fastening anti-loosening nut, which can provide effective anti-loosening performance when used with bolts and nuts. This nut is usually modified from an ordinary hexagonal nut, and a nylon ring without internal threads is riveted on its upper end. In the process of screwing with the bolt, the self-tapping action of the bolt will cause the nylon ring to extrude the corresponding tooth profile, and the side of the tooth profile will be squeezed to generate a large friction force with the side of the bolt tooth profile, thereby achieving the purpose of anti-loosening.
DIN985 non-metallic insert locking nut, also often called nylon locking nut, stop nut or self-locking nut, is a nut used to prevent threaded connections from loosening by themselves. They are widely used in various machinery, equipment, automobile and construction industries, especially in environments with large vibrations, which can effectively prevent screws from loosening.
The main feature of DIN985 nylon locking nut is that a circle of nylon insert is embedded in one end of the nut. This circle of nylon insert will fit tightly with the thread when the thread passes, thereby generating a certain friction force to achieve a locking effect. This design can effectively prevent the nut from loosening due to vibration and other reasons, and will not cause damage to the bolt, so it is widely used.
