Приводной барабан - барабан, который перемещает ленту конвейера. Передача тягового усиления происходит при помощи мотора - редуктора, с которым он связан специальным передаточным механизмом. То есть, мотор заставляет барабан вращаться, что приводит в движение ленту.
Неприводные барабаны (натяжные) представляют собой барабаны, которые не двигаются за счет мотора конвейера. Они необходимы для регулировки натяжения, а так же для поддержки направления движения ленты конвейеров.
Неприводные барабаны обеспечивают стабильное движение конвейерной ленты и поддерживают оптимальное натяжение.
Отклоняющий барабан - барабан, используемый для изменения направления движения ленты конвейера.
Обородный барабан - барабан, используемый для создания необходимой дуги охвата ленты на приводном барабане.
Крыльчатый барабан - В целом, он предназначен для использования в самой грязной и наиболее грязной и абразивной части конвейерной системы. Его само очищающее действие необходимо для устранения скопления материала между барабаном и лентой, что может предотвратить смещение и износ ленты.
