How to use PTFE thread seal tape?1. Begin by removing any foreign particles from the connecting parts, ensuring they are pristine and clean.2. Carefully consider the wrapping direction. For example, with an angle valve, when it's screwed into the wall's inner thread, it rotates clockwise to the right. Therefore, wrap the tape counterclockwise to the left on the angle valve. This method ensures the valve tightens instead of loosening.3. As you wrap, maintain a firm grip on the PTFE thread seal tape, ensuring it clings tightly to the threads without slack. After wrapping, press and rotate it firmly with your hands, or apply pressure while wrapping for a snug fit.4. The number of wrapping layers isn't strictly defined, but it should sufficiently prevent leakage once tightened. Typically, wrapping more than ten times is recommended to secure a robust seal.5. When securing the thread, avoid excessive force. A gentle touch is enough for a leak-proof seal. Simply ensure the hand feels resistance when tightening.
