A slurry pump is a machine that uses centrifugal force (the rotation of the pump impeller) to increase the energy of a solid-liquid mixed medium, and is a device that converts electrical energy into kinetic energy and potential energy of the medium. Mainly applicable to: mining, power plants, dredging, metallurgy, chemical industry, building materials and petroleum and other industries.
The trial operation of the slurry pump should meet the following requirements:
(1) The steering direction of the driving motor should be the same as that of the pump;
(2) Each fixed connection part should be free of looseness, and the specifications and quantity of lubricant added to each lubricating part should comply with the requirements of the equipment's technical documentation;
(3) Parts requiring pre-lubrication should be pre-lubricated according to regulations;
(4) All indicating instruments and safety protection devices should be sensitive, accurate and reliable;
(5) Turning should be flexible and without abnormality;
The following checks should be made when installing the slurry pump:
(1) The size, location, and elevation of the foundation should meet the design requirements. The anchor bolts must be properly and correctly fixed in the concrete foundation. The machine should not have missing parts, damage, or rust;
(2) According to the characteristics of the medium transported by the slurry pump, the materials of the main parts, shaft seals and gaskets should be checked if necessary;
(3) The leveling and alignment work of the slurry pump should comply with the regulations of equipment technology. If there is no provision, it should comply with the provisions of the current national standard "General Specifications for Construction and Acceptance of Mechanical Equipment Installation Projects";
(4) The installation of all pipelines and pipe fittings connected to the slurry pump and the cleaning requirements of lubricating oil pipelines should comply with relevant national standards.
