ATTEN ST-862D-E 1000W high power hot air gun rework station with temperature compensation and fault alarm function, suitable for electronic circuit board/PCB/BGA soldering and desoldering repair. The upgraded version ATTEN ST-862D-C is equipped with an LCD display, 100℃-600℃, 3 groups of quick temperature/airflow for quick selection, and optional warning light.

Operation Guide:
1. Easy temperature setting. Press Air "▲" or "▼" key to adjust the air volume and temperature. Long press for quickly adjusting. Stop pressing the key for 3 seconds, it will save the setting automatically.
2. The cool air function is used when the temperature setting value is under 100℃.
3. Saving and Call Shortcut Temperature. Press button "1"/"2"/"3" to call or save preset temperature and air flow value.
4. Temperature Lock Function. In menu C-F mode, it can switch temperature unit ℃/℉ by pressing "▲" or "▼" key.
5. Temperature Calibration. Under menu CAL mode, press "▲" or"▼" key to enable temperature calibration function, which calibration range is -50℃-50℃(-90℉-90℉). Calibration value will be negative as actual-measured temperature is lower than setting temperature; Calibration value will be positive as actual-measured temperature is higher than setting temperature.
6. Beeping function. Under menu BL mode, it can turn on/ off the beeping function by pressing the "▲" or "▼" key.
7. Timing function. Under menu HTO mode, it can adjust the time of the timing function by pressing the "▲" or "▼" key. Time ranges from 10 to 900 seconds.
8. Standby Function. In the menu STBY, pressing "▲" or "▼" can adjust the standby function on or off. It can adjust the standby time from 1 to 10mins. When the standby function is on, this handle can be shut off automatically when putting it on this holder. If within standby time, taking this handle out of the holder it will recover to work; if beyond the standby time, it won't work until pressing the button on the hot air gun.
(Note: if both timing function and standby function are on simultaneously, timing function will be recount time when the hot air gun working. )
Fault alarm function:
E2 Sensor open circuit: Poor contact of air gun connector or handle, should replace heater.
E3 No signal of zero-cross: The zero-cross circuit is damaged, need to repair.
E7 Sensor short circuit: The short circuit occurs to the temperature sensor of the heating element; or heating core open circuit. Should replace the heating element.
E8 Over temperature protection: 1. The temperature sensor is abnormal; should replace the heating core. 2. The temperature of the heating core is too high; after the heating core is cool, restart the machine.
E10 Heater overheating/E11 Fan broken/E13 The heating output switch component failed: need to repair.
