Exhibition FAQ Q1. What is the intended use for CDV test kits?
A1. For the semi-quantitative detection of antibodies to CDV in dog's serum or plasma.
Q2. What is the test principle for CDV test kits?
A2. The CDV Ab Test is based on sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test card has a testing window for the observation of assay running and result reading. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zone and a C (control) zone before running the assay. When the treated sample was applied into the sample hole on the device, the liquid will laterally flow through the surface of the test strip and react with the pre-coated recombinant antigens. If there are CDV antibodies in the specimen, a visible T line will appear in the relative window. The C line should always appear after a sample is applied, which indicates a valid result. By this means, the device can indicate the presence of CDV antibodies in the specimen.
Q3. What is storage and expiration date for CDV test kits?
A3. Store at 4 ~ 30ºC, in a cool and dry place, avoid freezing. It is valid for 24 months.
Q4. What the storage conditions for CDV test kits?
A4. It is recommended to conduct a test immediately after sample collection. If not for testing right now, they should be stored at 2-8°C if preserved at -20°C the shelf life of the sample can be increased, but it must be restored to room temperature before use.
Q5. What the precautions for CDV test kits?
A5. 1) This test strip is only used for dogs, not for other animals;
2) Please use the test card within the warranty period and within one hour after opening;
3) Avoid direct sunlight and fan blowing when testing;
4) Do not touch the test strip window area;
5) Do not mix the sample dropper to avoid cross contamination;
6) Do not use diluent other than this reagent.
7) The used test strips shall be disposed of properly in accordance with local regulations on the disposal of pollutants.
