Grinder for universal Lathe Application :
This grinding head is an attachment to horizontal manual lathe. It adopts numerical control for profile curve grinding to obtain crowning curves, and symmetric on the middle point, which is ideal profile for rubber roller profile crowning.
Material of roll includes rubber, PU, silicon resin, plastic, and fibre roller. It is widely used for papermaking, printing, textile industries, etc.
On any horizontal lathe, it can be installed directly with adapter we supply.
it is easy to use:
1) select type of curve
2) input length to cut
3) input height of crown
4) input speed of lathe feed rate (spindle speed rpm x carriage feed rate mm/r)
5) Start

Feature :
This machine adopts numerical control for profile curve grinding to obtain
crowning curves, and symmetric on the middle point, which is ideal profile for
rubber roller profile crowning.
l A few types of profiles can be done as follows.
1. Sine curve crowning grinding, suitable for grinding soft material rubber roller
(Hardness Shore A < 65°)
2. Circle arc crowning grinding, suitable for grinding middle hardness rubber roller
(Hardness Shore A about 75°)
3. Parabolic curve crowning grinding, suitable for grinding harder rubber roller
(Hardness Shore A about 85°)
4. Hardest curve crowning grinding, suitable for grinding hardest rubber roller
(Hardness Shore A > 90°)
5. Concave crowning grinding
6. Tapers (conic) grinding
7. Cylindrical surface grinding
l The material of roller:
Rubber, PU, silicon resin, plastic, metal, and fibre roller
l Lathe applicable:
On any horizontal lathe, it can be installed without adaptor directly.
