Expanded graphite packing is made by weaving expanded graphite yarns reinforced with cotton yarns through the center. It features excellent self-lubrication and thermal conductivity, with a low coefficient of friction, strong versatility, good flexibility, high strength, and is less likely to wear the shaft. Depending on different working conditions, it can be reinforced with different non-metallic and metallic wires. It is widely used in valves, pumps, expansion joints, mixers, agitators and other equipment in petrochemical, power plants, steel mills and other industries.
Application media include hot water, high-temperature and high-pressure steam, heat exchange media, ammonia, hydrogen, organic solvents, hydrocarbons, cryogenic liquids, etc.
