Does carbon fiber tubes can be make screw threads directly?
Carbon fiber is popular because of its light weight and high strength. Human like screw threads on carbon fiber tube to connect metal, because it is easy to disassemble.
So Does it Ok to make screw threads on carbon fiber tubes? Our answer is this - yes, but not recommended. Why? Because the carbon fiber tube is made of carbon fiber layer by layer. If the make screw threads, the structure of this layer will be destroyed. The screw thread part will be broken in the process of disassembly for many times. So it reduce the carbon fiber tube's strength.
So how to process the screw thread? It's very simple. Make a metal screw thread first. Then glue metal screw thread and carbon fiber tube together, which not only ensures easy disassembly, but also ensures the strength of carbon fiber.
Look at the picture below. The combination of our metal screw thread and carbon fiber tube -- high end atmosphere, high grade, low profile, luxury and connotation. The size can be customized,Welcome to contact us for details!
