DH2F is a high-performance hot work tool steel developed by Hitachi Metals, designed to offer superior thermal fatigue resistance, toughness, and high-temperature strength compared to conventional H13 / 1.2344 / SKD61 grades.
It is especially suitable for aluminum and magnesium die casting molds, hot forging dies, and other thermal processing tools requiring longer service life and better crack resistance.
DH2F is supplied in annealed condition and can be heat treated to achieve excellent mechanical properties.
