everyday environment to potentially cause severe illnesses. Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) is a disease that impairs the cat's immune system and can cause cancer.
This viral infection is responsible for too many deaths in household cats, affecting all breeds. Cats with
FeLV may not show any signs,even for years. 1.Collect whole blood and separate the plasma by centrifuge at 200~3000 rpm for 5~15 min. Or separate
serum from the whole blood by store at 4ºC over night. 2.Take out the test device from the foil pouch and put on a at surface.Transfer 10 ul blood sample into
sample well marked "S" on the device by dropper. 3.Add 4 drops dilution buffer into sample well marked "S" on the device. 4.Read the result of color change in T line and C line within 10 minutes. Result is invalid after 10 minutes. Product Description
The Hirikon Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) Antibody + Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) Antigen
Rapid Test Kit use chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of FIV antibody and FeLV
antigen in blood.Sample to be tested is loaded to the sample pad,and then capillary flow along on the test
strip. The detection antibody (or antigen) is coupled with colloidal gold as conjugate will mix with the sample
fluid.Where FIV Ab (or FeLV Ag) is present,a complex is formed by FIV Ab (or FeLV Ag) and colloidal gold
labelled antibody (or antigen). The labelled antigen-antibody complex is then bound by a second
'capture-antibody'that recognizes the complex,and which is immobilized as T line on the test strip. A positive
result therefore generates a visible wine-red line of antigen-antibody complex.A wine-red C line will appear
to confirm the test is operated correctly.
