Typical structure of decanter centrifuge drum

Decanter centrifuge (referred to as "decanter") is mainly composed of drum,screw,differential,frame,cover,etc.The drum and screw rotate at a certain differential speed in the same direction;
The material is continuously introduced into the spiral inner cylinder through the feed pipe,and then accelerated into the rotating drum.Under the action of centrifugal force,the heavy solid substance is deposited on the wall of the rotating drum to form a sediment layer.The screw continuously pushes the sludge to the end of the drum cone,and the sludge is discharged out of the machine through the discharge port.
The lighter liquid phase forms the inner liquid ring,which continuously spills out of the drum through the overflow port at the big end of the drum and drains out of the machine through the drain port, so as to realize liquid-solid two -phase separation or liquid-liquid-solid three-phase separation.
