Applicable scope:
Confirming tissue pathology, clinically used for biopsy of liver, kidney, prostate, enlarged lymph nodes, and various soft tissues.
Under the guidance of ultrasound or X-ray, percutaneous puncture is performed to extract soft pathological tissue for in vivo examination, suitable for biopsy of various solid organs and tissues, such as lungs, liver, kidneys, thyroid, prostate, pancreas, tumors, and enlarged lymph node tissues.
Usage:
Before performing a puncture biopsy, the doctor should disinfect the puncture site to ensure its sterility.
2. Determine the specific location of puncture biopsy based on imaging examinations (such as CT, MRI, etc.).
3. The doctor determines whether the lesion area has been reached based on the sensation of the needle tip and the patient's reaction.
4. Remove the biopsy needle and send the specimen to the pathology department for pathological examination.
After the puncture biopsy is completed, the doctor needs to disinfect the puncture site and inform the patient of the precautions.
