DescriptionOverviewThe EG12 is a series of LTE-A Cat 12 modules in an LGA form factor measuring 39.5 mm x 37 mm x 2.8 mm, which meets the 3GPP Release 12 standard. The EG12 is compatible with Quectel’s Cat 6 and 18 modules EG06 and EG18, to enable ease of migration between different categories. Delivering maximum downlink rates of 600 Mbps and uplink rates of 150 Mbps under LTE, the EG12 supports a range of applications that require fast and reliable transmission of large amounts of data, and multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology meets demands for data rate and link reliability. The series consists of three variants to meet various geographical demands, which can be compared via the table above.A wide range of internet protocols, industry-standard interfaces and functionalities (such as USB serial drivers for Windows 7/8/8.1/10, Linux, Android) allow the module to serve a wide range of IoT applications with demanding data transmission requirements.Key FeaturesWorldwide LTE-A and UMTS/HSPA+ coverageCompatible with Quectel’s Cat 6 and 18 modules EG06 and EG18Supports DFOTA and DTMFSupports DL 3CA, 256QAM and 4x4 MIMOUSB 2.0/3.0, supports master and slave modesWhy Choose UsFAQQ1.
