1. Working principle:
The working principle of hammer crusher is mainly based on impact. After the material enters the crusher, it is crushed by the strong impact of the hammer head that rotates at high speed. The crushed material obtains kinetic energy from the hammer head and rushes to the baffle and sieve bar in the frame at high speed. At the same time, the materials also collide with each other, thus experiencing multiple breaks. The material smaller than the gap of the sieve bar is discharged from the gap, while the larger material is crushed by the impact, grinding and squeezing of the hammer head again on the sieve bar until the required particle size is reached.

The hammer crusher is mainly composed of rotor, spindle, disc, pin shaft and other parts with hammer head. The rotor rotates at high speed in the crushing cavity, driving the hammer head to crush the material.
The crusher is usually equipped with a sieve plate to control the output particle size. The particle size smaller than the sieve hole size is discharged through the sieve plate, while the coarse particle size larger than the sieve hole remains on the sieve plate and continues to be hit and ground by the hammer head.
3. Main types:
Hammer crushers are divided into two forms: single rotor and double rotor, of which single rotor is divided into reversible and irreversible. Single-rotor hammer crushers and ring hammer crushers are widely used.
4. Scope of application:
Hammer crusher is suitable for crushing all kinds of medium-hard and weak abrasive materials, such as limestone, slag, coke, coal, gypsum, bricks and tiles, slag, etc. It is widely used in cement, chemical industry, electric power, metallurgy, building materials, highways, combustion and chemical sectors.
By adjusting the gap of the sieve or selecting different sizes of grille baskets, the output particle size can be controlled to meet the needs of different users.
5. Operation and maintenance:
After the crusher starts, it needs to wait until the operating speed reaches normal before feeding. The feed should be added from the front to prevent accidents caused by the partial load of the machine.
Strictly prevent steel, ultra-hard rocks, etc. from entering the machine to avoid damaging the machine parts. At the same time, it is necessary to regularly check whether the screws of the crusher are loose, regularly observe the work situation, and stop the operation in time when abnormal situations are found.
Hammer crushers are prone to splashes, so you need to be especially careful when working. The feeding must be stopped before the shutdown, and the feeding must be stopped after all the materials in the machine are discharged.
