Product Introduction
When a sand mill is working, the internal grinding temperature generally should not exceed 65 degrees Celsius. If it exceeds the protection temperature of the sand mill, the temperature switch will act, and the sand mill will automatically stop for protection, thus affecting the production efficiency. Conversely, if the internal grinding temperature is too low, the viscosity of the grinding slurry will be too high, and the driving motor will not be able to drive it, and it may even cause the grinding motor to burn out. This shows the necessity of matching a cooling system for the sand mill.
The functions of the Chuanben sand mill cooling system during the sand grinding process are as follows:
1. Effectively control the dehydration of the slurry. Most of the energy consumed during grinding is converted into heat, raising the temperature of the air and materials. For a ball mill, if the internal temperature of the grinding chamber is too high, it will cause the slurry to dehydrate, which will have an adverse effect on the setting time and strength of the slurry. The Chuanben sand mill cooling system can prevent this from happening.
2. During the sand grinding process, an air film is formed on the surface of the slurry due to the adsorption of some air, which hinders the electrostatic interaction between particles and avoids the adsorption and coagulation on the particle surface. However, when the temperature exceeds 100°C, the air film adsorbed on the particle surface is destroyed. Under the electrostatic effect, adsorption and agglomeration occur between particles and between particles and the liner of the grinding media, which has a buffering effect on grinding and reduces the grinding efficiency. This effect increases with the increase in the specific surface area of the product and the increase in the temperature inside the mill. Therefore, water cooling can improve the grinding efficiency.
3. When grinding cement, the temperature of the material entering the mill is generally higher than that when grinding raw materials, and the product fineness is also finer. Therefore, the temperature inside the mill is relatively high. If it is not cooled, the temperature of the cylinder is too high. On the one hand, the gap between the liners will become smaller due to thermal expansion. In severe cases, the liners will squeeze together and bulge, breaking the screws of the liners. On the other hand, the temperature of the cylinder will also be conducted to the hollow shaft, causing the temperature of the hollow shaft to be too high and leading to equipment accidents. Therefore, water cooling will improve the safe operation of the equipment.
