ZX/ZW series self-priming pump made by our company is developed after our digestion, assimilation, and improvement of domestic and foreign relevant technical data, which is an energy-saving kind of pump production. The pump is a kind of self-suction centrifugal pump, which has the advantages of compact structure, convenient operation, steady running, easy maintenance, high efficiency, long life, strong self-suction ability, and so on. It doesn't need a foot valve on the pipeline and just needs to ensure that there is quantificational inducting oil stored in the pump case before work, so as to simplify the pipeline system and improve the working condition.
ZX series self-priming pump application range:
1. The self-priming centrifugal pump, suitable for municipal environment protection, architecture, fire control, chemical industry, pharmacy, dyeing and printing, brewage, electricity, electric plating, paper-making, cooling and so on.
2. It is suitable for freshwater, seawater, acids, alkalis, chemical liquids, Mushy slurry (media viscosity, particle content under 30%), various liquids use various materials: HT200, ICR18NIGTI, OCR18NIOCR17Ni14M02, ICR18NI12M02TI.

Start, running and stop
Start
1. First of all, pour water into pipes, to make the pump and inlet pipe filled with water. The pipes shall be sealed, no air leaked. (no-water inside start is forbidden)
2. Close globe valve and cock on outlet pipe, to reduce start currency.
3. Rotate the rotor by hand, lubricate the bearing and check the pump impeller, seal the ring, if it cannot rotate, you shall not start.
4. Try to start, motor rotation direction shall be as same as the arrow direction on the pump.
5. When the rotor works normally, open gradually the outlet globe valve, adjust for the work conditions required.
Running
1. Observe the reading in meters, keep it running around the flow and head shown on the nameplate.
2. Regularly check, motor currency value shall not exceed rated currency value.
3. Pump bearing temperature shall not exceed 75ºC, and shall not be 35ºC higher than ambient environment.
4. To start, loosen the stuff cap. Adjust later when started.
5. In case of fragile component abrasion, replace in time.
6. When any abnormal happens, immediately stop and check.
Stop
1. Close the globe valve on the outlet pipe, close the vacuum gauge cock.
2. Stop the motor, and close the pressure cock.
3. In Winter, drain the liquid in the pump completely to avoid frozen cracks.
4. When you will not use it for a long time, uninstall the pump, clean, and lubricate.
Troubleshooting

Fault	Cause	Solution
The pump cannot suck water, pressure gauge & vacuum gauge vibrating	1. Insufficient water pouring 2. Leak between pipe and meter 3. Suction is too high	1, check a leak in the bottom valve. 2, Tighten the leaked part 3, reduce suction

Cannot reach designed flow	1. air sucked 2. Water level drops, submerged depth is not enough 3. impeller jammed 4. rotor torn and worn	1, check leak part and clear off 2, prolong water inlet pipe, increase the submerged depth 3, uninstall and clear off 4, replace seal ring
Great pump power consumption	1. Stuff tightened, overheated 2. Great flow 3. Collision between rotor and case 4. Pump shaft bearing abrasion 5. Pump shaft misplaced	1. loosen slightly 2. reduce globe valve opening 3. adjust 4. replace bearing 5. replace or adjust
