The new 2EP series is an ultra-miniature push-pull thermal circuit breaker adapted from a proven aeronautical circuit breaker design, providing a true state-of-the-art solution at a competitive price position in the market. The push-pull design of the 2EP reduces the risk of accidental trips. Temperature compensation allows it to maintain constant calibration at *** temperature. The thermal design allows sufficient delay to minimize interference tripping. Sturdy locking design provides high impact and vibration performance. The multi-break design provides high interrupt performance and ratings at both AC and DC voltages. This thermal circuit breaker design can reduce trouble by providing high short circuit capacity and low voltage precipitation during peacetime tripping. The design provides no trip operation, so it cannot remain closed when overloaded. The push-pull drive minimizes accidental trips, while the white tape provides visual travel indication. The combination of these features makes the solution particularly suitable for industrial equipment, radar, medical and dental equipment, electronic control systems, telecommunications equipment, power supplies and test equipment.
