Fused cast α-βalumina block consists of 50% αalumina and 50% βalumina.The interlaced crystal structure creates a sense structure inside the block, which is characterized by its excellent resistance to alkali. Under the temperature of 1350℃,its corrosion resistance to glass melt is equal to AZS. In contact with the glass melt, the products will barely create bubbles or other foreign matters to contaminate the glass melt due to its characters of containing rare impurities of Fe2O3, TiO2 and vitreous phase matrix.So it is the most suitable material for the side wall, paving, channel and feeder of high grade glass furnace.
