Direct roving
Alkali-free glass fiber direct roving (hereinafter referred to as "direct roving") is directly drawn through spinnerets.
Thermosetting direct roving is designed for use with thermosetting resins, such as unsaturated polyester resin (UPR), vinyl ester resin, epoxy resin, and polyurethane resin. It is applied to filament winding, pultrusion, hand lay-up, and weaving processes. End products include pipelines, pressure vessels, profiles, and chemical storage tanks.
CPIC's direct untwisted roving is a continuous single strand untwisted roving used for pultrusion molding, fabric and checkered fabric manufacturing. They are suitable for unsaturated polyester resin (UP), vinyl resin (VE), phenolic resin (Phenolic), and epoxy resin (EP). The product can be produced using E glass, ECT glass, ECR glass (with excellent chemical corrosion resistance), and TM glass (with obvious advantages in large fiberglass products that require high modulus).
