The open type rescue boat is manufactured with compliance with the «amendments to the SALAS , 1974», MSC218. (82)MSC226. (82), MSC272. (85) and MSC274.(85).The hull of lifeboat is made of the fire reinforced plastic(F.R.P) .The space between the inside and outside hull is filled with polyurethane foam which will supply sufficient buoyancy for the boat. The boat will be afloat with the help of the foam even the part of boat underneath the water damaged . The boat will be self-righted when the boat turn over to any angle. This type of boat is used for the rescue on the sea. Rescue boat is made from fiber reinforced plastic (FRP), between its inner hull and outer hull is filled with polyurethane foams to offer sufficient buoyancy. If damages occur to the boatbody under water, the buoyant hull can still provide sufficient buoyancy to enable the boat to sail safety on the water surface.
Teel handrails are installed on both sides of the boat for occupants. Self- discharging deck ensures quick discharge of water in the boat. rescue boat is equipped with self- right air- tank , which meets the requirements for use on board of the RORO vessel,which is according to the latest regulations of SOLAS and international standards to design and build.
Rescue boat feature:
1. Comply with the requirmrns and rules of SOLAS and amendment 1996, LSA Code, MSC.218(82), MSC.272(85), MSC.320(89)& MSC.81(70) , MSC.226(82), MSC274(85), MSC321(89);
2. Boat body material: fire- pretended type FRP;
3. Fit the self-righting device. It can self-righting by itself when capsized;
4. Fit the off-load release mechanism with the safety pin;
5. Equipment is equipped according to SOLAS requirment;
6. The surface for walking is the antiskid;
7. Equip a manual pump remove the ponding in the boat;
8. Rubber fender is fitted around the boat;
9. The deck can self-motion drainage;
10. Running time of rescue boat when full-loaded & full-speed is more than 4 hours.
