Polyquaternium-37 is one of the most widely used polyquaternium compounds to be used as an antistatic agent and a film-former in hair care products.
Hair care: It works by providing a positive charge to counteract the negative charge found in shampoos and other hair care products. It also bonds ionically to the hair and imparts conditioning benefits like ease of combing, hair alignment, shine and elasticity

Charater:The spatial conformation of this product is a layered liquid crystal, which presents an alternating spatial conformation of numerous hydrophobic and hydrophilic layers in an aqueous solution system, thus possessing super strong thickening and moisturizing properties;
PQ-37 contains long-chain hydrophobic groups, which act as a lipid like substance and are gentle and non irritating to the skin;
It can be matched with quaternary ammonium salts, biguanides, silver ions and other fungicides, and can be specifically used in the production of disposable gel like disinfectant hand sanitizers;
It is not suitable for matching with triclosan (DP-300), as triclosan is prone to degradation in systems containing chloride ions
Polyquaternium-37, when used in combination with fatty alcohols and surfactants, can provide a hair care composition with excellent plumpness and plumpness effects, especially for fine hair, while also endowing hair with excellent combing, elasticity, and luster.
Used in hair conditioners, hair softeners, face cream, hair masks, cleaning patches and other products.
