S7 mould steel is heavy load impact resistant tool steel and medium carbon alloy steel. The high strength S7 material has higher chromium content and better resistance to backfire and high temperature oxidation. In addition, the steel also has excellent wear resistance, excellent etching machining, excellent wire cutting and excellent impact toughness. After annealing and softening, the original microstructure of rolled bar is F+C and must be used after heat treatment.
USES:
High strength impact resistance cold working die steel brand S7 steel is suitable for bearing heavy load die steel; Thermosetting plastic mold, high temperature thermosetting plastic mold; Fixed and moving die inserts; High wear resistance, high toughness, high hardness of cold stamping die.
S7 steel is an American impact-resistant tool steel, and there is no corresponding steel grade in China's tool steel brand. The supply state of this steel is annealed, and the factory hardness is 255HBS.
Heat treatment process:
The heat treatment of S7 die steel is conventional vacuum heat treatment
Quenching temperature 850-880℃, oil cold or salt bath;
The tempering temperature is 550℃ and the hardness of heat treatment is 54-58HRC
