Sodium pyrophosphate(TSPP) Product DescriptionSodium pyrophosphate, an inorganic compound with the formula Na4P2O7, is a white crystalline powder that absorbs moisture easily in air and delixes, soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol and other organic solvents. It has strong complexation ability with Cu2+, Fe3+, Mn2+ and other metal ions, and the aqueous solution is stable below 70ºC, and is hydrolyzed to disodium hydrogen phosphate by boiling

It has obvious chelating and dispersing effect and can resist flocculation. Can prevent fat oxidation, casein viscidity and other effects. When the PH value is high, it has the effect of inhibiting food spoilage and fermentation. It is mainly used for meat and aquatic products processing, which can improve water retention, keep meat fresh and tender, and stabilize natural pigments. It can also be used in starch manufacturing, etc., and is mostly used in combination with other phosphates.
