Rules for the use of the UKCA mark
1. Add UKCA logo
Until 1 January 2023, for most products (except those subject to special rules), the UKCA logo may be affixed to the label of the product or to the accompanying document. From 1 January 2023, the UKCA logo must be affixed directly to products in most cases. Therefore, enterprises should start to prepare for this.
1. Add UKCA principles:
1. The UKCA mark may only be affixed to the product by the manufacturer or its UK authorized representative (where permitted by law)
2. When affixed with the UKCA mark, the manufacturer shall take full responsibility for the compliance of the product with the relevant regulations
3. Only the UKCA mark can be used to prove product compliance with relevant UK law
4. No mark or mark shall be provided to a third party which may misinterpret the meaning or form of the UKCA mark
5. No other mark shall be placed on the product that affects the visibility, legibility or meaning of the UKCA mark
6. The UKCA logo shall not be placed on products unless expressly required by law
Ii. Rules using the UKCA mark Manufacturers must ensure that:
1. If the size of the mark is reduced or enlarged, the relevant proportion of the letters of the UKCA mark shall be observed
2. The height of the UKCA mark shall be at least 5 mm unless a different minimum size is specified in the relevant legislation
3. The UKCA logo shall be clearly visible
Three: technical document requirements
1. Record keeping. The manufacturer or its authorized representative (where permitted by law) must keep documents proving that the product meets regulatory requirements. After a product is put on the market, it must be kept for 10 years. The documents retained will depend on the specific regulations related to the product, but a general record of the following must be maintained:

3. How to prove that the product meets the relevant requirements
4. Address of the manufacturer and any storage facilities
