The Zund blade offers precise cutting and can be utilized for applications including clothing, printing, film, packaging, textiles, fiberglass, lithium batteries, papermaking, and more. LCUT's proprietary CNC sharpening technology allows for precision sharpening of blades to a razor-like edge in a pointed-tip configuration, enhancing versatility and cutting performance. Pointed-tip blades are ideal for applications that require a sharp point to initiate a cut in tough materials, minimal penetration force, and a specific slit length, such as piercing a rubber diaphragm. Although pointed-tip blades are slightly more expensive than simple straight-edge blades, the added benefits often justify the marginal cost increase.
