PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
SilClar® is synthetically produced, amorphous silica dioxide (SiO2) which appears as white powder.
APPLICATION
Silclar silica is a highly selective adsorbent developed specifically for the brewing process and highly efficient for "chill-proofing". The high levels of chemical purity and amorphous nature of Silclar silica insures it is safe and effective. It is chemically inert, insoluble in beer, and therefore can be easily and completely removed during the filtration process.

STORAGE RECOMMENDATION
Storage in a dry warehouse is recommended. Open package should be resealed to prevent contamination. The material should be used within 12 months from the date of production.
HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION
SilClar® is a non-crystalline silica gel adsorbent. Silica gel meets the requirements of the FDA for food applications. Information to date indicates that the dust from the product is not toxic and does not cause fibrosis. Please refer also to national laws and regulations.
