5. Characteristics
Very good workability and mirror polishing property, suitable for thermoset molding mold of general resin.
Our NAK80 is a steel smelted by using refining degassing and SEP remelting, suitable for super-mirror molds with high polishing property requirements.
The polishing property and workability are the best among the plastic mold steels.
Supplied in pre-hardened state, suitable for direct mold cutting without heat treatment.
After electric spark machining, the surface hardness is not increased, so that it is easy to repair and Polish the mold.
