What is W12 Railway Fasteners System?
The SKL12/W12 railway fastening system is a type of elastic clip rail fastening system, specifically designed for use with concrete sleepers in ballast-less tracks (or slab tracks), securing the rail to the sleeper and maintaining gauge and preventing rail movement.
The W12 railway fastening system is suitable for challenging weather conditions, including extreme temperature fluctuations (-60°C to +50°C) and regions with high atmospheric humidity.
The system utilizes highly elastic components, like cellentic rail pads, to allow for rail deflection and optimize load distribution, ensuring smooth running and minimizing vibrations.
The W12 system ensures stable rail deflection, which leads to fewer vibrations and a smoother ride.
