What is particle board?
Particle board, also known as chipboard, is a type of engineered wood that is made from wood chips, sawdust,bagasse,bulrush and other small wood particles that are bonded together with a synthetic resin or other adhesive. It is usually produced in large sheets and is used as a alternative to solid wood or plywood.
What is particle board production line?
Particle board production line can use small-diameter wood and wood branches, wood processing production residues, such as wood core, broken veneer, log truncation and plywood strips, factory shavings, as raw materials, the production of gradient structure or homogeneous structure quality particleboard. Products can be used for furniture, construction, packaging, vehicles and ships interior decoration, as well as two times the processing can be made of a variety of decorative board
Product Parameters
01.Chipper and Flaker section
Raw material is reduced into qualified chips by the drum chipper, then the chips are transported to the chip silo, and then infeed to the knife-ring flaker by which the chips are turned to flakes, then the flake stored in wet flake silo.
02.Dryer section
The flakes discharged from the wet flake silo are conveyed to the dryer, now the most popular dryer have two type , hot air dryer and oil dryer , the chips after from the dryer machine , moisture can control under 5% after the dryer machine, in this way ,we can send the chips to the next stage of the particle board production line.
03.Screen section
The flakes discharged from the wet flake silo are conveyed to the Three passage hot-air dryer. Qualified core flakes are stored in core flake silo; oversize flakes are send to double-stream mill to be re-crushing, and transported to surface flake silo.
04.Glue dosing section
Glue dosing system in clued metering scale,PLC control and real-time monitoring three parts.
By weighting and metering function ,the glue ,curing agent and water can be mixed in an accurate proportion to ensure the quality of glue.The whole system process can be controlled accurately and quickly through the PLC control module,which can monitor the operation of the entire system equipment, modify the control parameters at any time according to the production needs ,also have the function of fault alarm and record.
05.Glue mixer section
After scaled, the core and surface flakes are to be effectively and uniformly mixed with qualified glue independently in their glue blenders respectively.
06.Pre-press section
The mats after the forming machine ,then go to the pre-press machine ,after the pre-press machine working , we could get a certain forming bonding strength, more convenient for the cross saw section and hot press section.

08.Hot press section
After process of metal remover , pre-press, lengthwise saw, cross saw, accelerate conveyor,scaling conveyor , storing conveyor and loading conveyor,mats are transported to carrier and then to hot pressing. Rough boards after pressing are pushed to unloader via pallet.
09.Cooling section
The rough board is conveyed to star-cooler for cooling, then the rough board goes through side trimming sawand become a qualified particle-board, stacked on the hydraulic lift.
10.Cutting section
The cooled mats particle board is sent by the belt conveyor to the longitudinal sawing edge and the transverse swinging saw for finished sawing treatment.The sawn finished plats are stacked on the hydraulic lifting platform.After the plats are stacked to a certain height, forklifts are used to transport the plates to the finished product warehouse for stacking.
11.Sanding section
The board are sanded, checked and stored. And need 2sets sanding machine, one is 2-head sanding machine; another one is 4-head sanding machine. And sanding machine brand is Sufoma, which is best quality in China.
