Clean up any accumulated material on the surface. Weeds, straw, dust, and oil on the cutting platform, bridge, granary, and external parts of the engine should be cleaned thoroughly. Add grease to each transmission bearing, and apply engine oil or grease to the friction parts such as the reel, agitator telescopic rod sleeve, tensioning screw, etc. to prevent rust. For rusted exposed parts and areas where paint has been worn off, rust should be removed and repainted
